Caffeine and Provigil
In a test that had recently been done on 50 volunteers the scientists had been trying to understand the effects of the drugs below, that volunteers were given blindly:
- 100 mg Provigil
- Placebo
- 200 mg Provigil
- 600 mg caffeine
- 400 mg Provigil
Different tests have been done on an hourly basis, to get a better understanding of the drugs’ effects.
600 mg dosage of caffeine made a similar effect to 400 mg of Provigil, the study had shown.
Breastfeeding on Provigil medicine
Make sure you let your doctor know if you are breastfeeding or considering breastfeeding in the future. Provigil belongs to Category C, that means it is unknown whether this medicine passes to the breast milk.
You and your doctor will need to decide and weight all risks and benefits and decide whether to continue or quit taking Provigil
